At SofTech Education, we are committed to providing high-quality IT training and services that help students advance in their careers. We value the trust our students place in us, and we understand that situations may arise where a refund is necessary. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting and processing refunds. We encourage all students to read this policy carefully before enrolling in any course or initiating a refund request.

Eligibility for Refunds

Before applying for a refund, it is important to review and understand the eligibility criteria. Refunds are applicable only under specific conditions outlined in this policy. By enrolling in any course offered by SofTech Education, you agree to abide by these terms.

Refund requests will be considered only when the student meets the eligibility conditions. All refund applications must be submitted via email to the official SofTech Education support team at contact@softechedu.com.

SofTech Education, operated under the Itvedant group, reserves the sole right to approve or deny any refund request based on our policies and procedures.

Refund Process

To initiate a refund, students must submit a formal written request through email. After receiving the refund request, our team will verify the eligibility and necessary documentation. Based on the verification process, we will determine whether the request qualifies for a refund.

Processing the refund request typically takes 15 working days from the date of receiving all required documents. In some cases, it may take longer depending on specific circumstances.

Required Documentation

For a refund to be considered, students are required to submit:

  1. Proof of enrollment
  2. Payment receipts
  3. Valid government-issued identification (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc.)
  4. Any other documents requested by SofTech Education for verification purposes

Failure to submit complete documentation may result in delays or denial of the refund request.

Refund Components

Refundable and non-refundable components are clearly defined to maintain transparency.

Non-Refundable Fees:

  1. GST Charges (18% of the total course fee, if applicable)
  2. Administration Charges: ₹5,000 (non-negotiable)
  3. Loan Processing Charges: 8.5% (if the payment was made through loan services)
  4. Global Examination Fees (if applicable)

Refundable Fees:

  • The refundable amount includes the course fee minus the above-mentioned non-refundable components.

Refund Criteria

Early Exit:

  1. If a refund request is submitted within one week (7 days) from the date of enrollment, SofTech Education will refund the full course fee, excluding the administration charges.

Initial Exit:

  1. If a refund request is submitted within 30 days from the date of enrollment, 50% of the total course fee (excluding non-refundable charges) will be refunded.
  2. No refund will be initiated if the request is made after 30 days of enrollment under any circumstances.

Job Guarantee Program Refund

Students who have enrolled in SofTech Education's 100% Job Guarantee Program are eligible for a placement refund, but only under the terms and conditions outlined in the Job Guarantee Program Policy. Please refer to the Placement Policy page for detailed conditions regarding placement refund eligibility.

Refund Approval and Disbursement

Once a refund is approved, the amount will be processed and transferred through the same method used for the original payment. The processing period may vary based on the banking institution and payment gateway policies.

Refunds will not be provided in cash under any circumstances.

Important Points to Remember

  1. Students must ensure full compliance with SofTech Education’s guidelines while applying for a refund.
  2. No refunds will be processed for students who breach SofTech Education's Terms and Conditions or Code of Conduct.
  3. Refunds are non-transferable and non-negotiable beyond the conditions stated above.
